Tom Ford Welcomes A Son 

 

Fashion designer Tom Ford and his partner Richard Buckley have welcomed their first child, Alexander John Buckley Ford.

Ford and Buckley's son was born on September 23. The designer's representative has confirmed, reported E! online.

But little is known about the baby, who is believed to have been born via a surrogate mother.
The former creative director of Gucci has been with journalist Buckley for 25 years and says it was love at first sight when they met at a fashion show in 1986.

Ford has previously stayed coy about his intention to have children, but said that he would never use any child as a "press tool" and would keep them out of the spotlight.

"If I have children, no one will know about it until the child is born. And no one will ever see the child because I certainly wouldn't use it as a press tool.

"If I have a child, you won't notice that I had a child. Maybe you'll see it when it's 18, but I will keep it out of the spotlight," he had said.

Talking about the collection, Jameela said: “These clothes are all little confidence boosters.
“I wasn’t trying to prove how creative and ‘edgy’ I can be, I wanted to make clothes that women feel proud in. Confidence is the most attractive thing a woman can wear.”
